Do you want to help shape modern data platforms not only from a technical perspective, but also actively manage demanding Snowflake projects, provide functional leadership to teams and advise clients in the banking environment at a strategic level?

Do you know Snowflake from hands-on project experience and understand data platforms, data engineering and analytics not only from a technical perspective, but also from a project, governance and business point of view? Are you able to structure requirements, coordinate stakeholders, set priorities and ensure that quality, timeline and budget are aligned?

Your new challenge

• You advise our clients on the design and implementation of modern data platform and analytics solutions based on Snowflake
• You analyse requirements and support our clients in implementing new requirements, including documentation. In doing so, you act as the interface between IT and business departments on the client side
• You provide functional leadership for project teams, streams or sub-projects
• You manage the financial performance of projects, including resource planning, budget control and profitability
• You support project sourcing, pitches and proposal processes
• You support strategic client management and the expansion of our Snowflake and data consulting portfolio

What you bring

• A completed degree in business administration, business informatics, computer science or a comparable qualification with strong IT affinity
• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or BI projects, ideally in banking or financial services
• Experience as a Project Manager and/or Team Manager
• Proven hands-on experience with Snowflake, including SQL, data modelling, Security & RBAC, performance optimisation and data lakes in Snowflake
• Knowledge of internal banking processes and products is an advantage
• SnowPro certification, for example Core, Data Engineer or Specialty Gen AI, or knowledge of Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex AI is desirable
• Dynamic, communicative and self-driven personality with strong analytical skills and a client- and results-oriented way of working
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of responsibility and a clear focus on quality, commercial viability and client value
• Fluent German and English language skills, at least C1 level, strong team spirit, flexibility and willingness to travel
